The Avaya IP Office system
supports up to 384-Digital/Analog/VoIP Telephones,
8-PRI T1s,
40-Voicemail/Automated Attendant Ports on a single system
and up to 1000
users and 32-networked remote sites using Avaya Small
Community Network {SCN} feature.
With the Avaya software release
7.0 on Mar-23, 2011, the IP Office now supports Nortel
Digital M and T Series and Nortel IP Phones, in addition to
the current Avaya portfolio of Telephones. There is no other
system available Today, that supports another manufacturers
line of Digital and IP Phones. The IP Office allows for both
the Nortel and Avaya Telephones to be used simultaneously.
The Avaya Small Community
Network {SCN} feature allows telephone users in multiple
offices to contact one another without incurring Long
Distance charges. These multiple sites can also share a
single, centralized Voicemail Pro system with Auto Attendant
which reduces overall expenses of having to purchase a
Voicemail system for each site in addition to maintenance
costs, changes, etc.
